Our Founder, Our Inspiration - Mrs. Manju Bharat Ram

(29th December 1945-12th December 2012)

“A child’s maximum growth takes place between the age of 2 to 5 years in terms of mental, emotional and physical development. They need love and nurturing to develop a sense of trust and security that turns into confidence as they grow.

It is important that an environment be created for the child which is exciting, arouses curiosity, lays a solid foundation for learning, nurturing and sensitivity and makes the developing years an enriching one. The need for such an environment arose when children being admitted to The Shri Ram Schools were made to unlearn what they had learnt in some pre-schools. Learning has to be age appropriate and according to each child’s developmental needs. This is what The Shri Ram Early Years is all about.”

Mr. Sheelam Seth

Chief Executive Officer, Shri Educare Limited

Sheelam, an Engineering Graduate from BITS Pilani, joined SRF Limited as a Management Trainee in the Fluorochemicals Business space. He worked extensively on the new projects during the initial part of his career. He moved to Sales and Marketing of the Fluorochemicals Business and provided able leadership, launched several products, and ensured SRF as the market leader in the Refrigerant gas and Chloromethanes.

Mrs. Sunita Arora

Principal, The Shri Ram Early Years; Associate Vice President, Shri Educare Limited

Ms. Sunita Arora, presently Principal at The Shri Ram Early Years has been part of the ‘Shri’ family for more than 15 years. She carries the Shri values proudly. Her role as a mentor and guide, instill within her team a feeling of confidence and team spirit. Her journey with The Shri Ram Schools started when she joined The Shri Ram School Aravali in the elementary department. She has extensive experience in early childhood care and education, and child and family outcomes.

At what age is my child eligible?

At The Shri Ram Early Years, there are four programmes designed according to age
1. AARAMBH, where little dreams begin for 1 year and above
2. NANHE KADAM for children of ages 1year 6 months and above
3. BADHTE KADAM for children of ages 2 years and above
4. UDHTE KADAM for children of ages 3 years and above

What kind of development can we expect in our child?

Based on experiential learning, our classroom activities are designed with conscious focus on the development and honing of various skillsets. These include Language and Communication, Social skills, Emotional, Critical and Creative Thinking, Fine and Gross Motor skills.

How will the connect happen for such small children?

Children are assigned to age-appropriate classes with two teachers; and the play-based activities are interactive and meticulously designed to engage every child. These also provide ample opportunities for peer interaction. Considering your child’s individual pace and comfort, we ensure that the connect is gradual. Naturally, this enables a seamless settling and paves the way for eagerly looking forward to school.

How will I get information regarding my child’s development?

There is an established protocol of sharing the child’s development by way of Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) and progress reports. In addition, the parent portal and one-on-one appointments with class teachers help you stay connected.
